NWSS students hosting ghost tours

Stratford Gazette

Northwestern Secondary School drama students are stepping into Stratford’s dark side to present haunting stories of our heritage downtown on guided ghost tours Friday, Oct. 26 in support of the Perth County Historical Foundation.

The tours will take place at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Drama students are learning the haunting tales of ghosts at stops such as the jail, historic pubs and the Avon Theatre and preparing to tell the stories from their own perspective.

The students are rehearsing all week before donning costumes to share their spirited accounts on ghost walks Friday night. Meet your ghoulish guides at the Visitors Information Centre on York Street.

Dress appropriately as tours will proceed in weather fair or foul.

Tour tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available at www.visitstratford.ca/ghosttour.
