Splash Pad in Round 2 of Aviva Challenge

The Stratford Splash Pad Committee’s “Cash for Splash” campaign has completed Round 1 of voting in the Aviva Community Challenge. The local project received more than 2,800 votes contributed by over 800 supporters. That was good enough to place Cash for Splash in 24th place in a field of hundreds of ideas.

While not quite enough votes were accumulated to automaticaly advance directly to the semi-finals, the project will continue on in Round 2 of the voting, which began this past Monday.

“The Splash Pad Committee is quite confident our idea will be successful with your help,” said the committee in a press release.

The Splash Pad Committee is made up of volunteers who are local community members that are parents, business owners and community members. The Splash Pad committee is joined by efforts from The Rotary Club of Festival City.
