A wild race

Stratford Gazette

The 10th annual Amazing Pace, a fundraiser to support the work of the Lung Association, took place Saturday in Stratford.

Two and four person teams took to the streets solving clues to find nine hidden locations around the city.  At each checkpoint, participants, many of whom dressed in colourful costumes despite the cooler temperatures and threat of rain, faced physical and mental challenges they had to complete before moving on.

Funds raised support Lung Association health initiatives and medical research into respiratory disease.

This year's event drew 30 participants. The total raised has yet to be announced.
