Lora Curtis, co-owner of Totally Spoke’d, and Blyth resident Mark Nonkes were kept busy Saturday collecting old bicycles.

The two are part of the group Bicycles for Humanity Huron-Perth, which over the last four years has sent 1,200 bikes to assist kids and adults in Africa.

Approximately 250 bikes were donated over the day. Collections were also held at the United Church in Blyth and leading up to the event at Curtis's store.

Curtis said she was thrilled with the result, but hopes to have 400 bikes collected before shipping them over to Africa.

Anyone who missed Saturday's drop-off but would like to donate a bike are asked to contact Totally Spoke'd.
