Taking part in the arts

Stratford Gazette

Canadians from coast to coast participated in thousands of free events over the weekend as part of the third annual Culture Days.

The national event celebrates the arts and culture – and there was no better place to do that than in Stratford, where local and Perth County artists came together to offer a varied mix of attractions and activities.

Some of the participating organizations included the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Stratford Public Library, Perth Arts Connect, Hermione Presents and Gallery Stratford.

Most of the weekend's activities were run at Factory 163, which year-round serves as a hub for local artists to showcase their creative and innovative ideas.
