Symphony Orchestra fundraiser July 8

Stratford Gazette

The Stratford Symphony Orchestra will host its annual outdoor concert, Cows and Classics, at the Murray Farm on Sunday, July 8 from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

The program will feature a Mozart quartet and a Lachner trio performed by musicians from the orchestra. The symphony will also welcome Thomas Murray, an award winner at the 2012 Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts, to sing at this fundraising event.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased from Anything Grows or Fanfare Books in Stratford, or at the event.

The Murray farm is located 12 minutes from Stratford. Proceed along Highway 8 towards Mitchell, through Sebringville, to the Holland dealership. Turn left onto Road 155. Watch for the balloons at the first farm on the right. Bring a lawn chair.
