Food and fellowship

Stratford Gazette

Memorial Baptist Church in Stratford opened its doors to the public on Monday for its first Family Day supper, and approximately 60 people turned out to take advantage of the free food and fellowship.

About 30 members of the church's congregation volunteered by welcoming guests and preparing and serving the meals, which consisted of pasta, salads, rolls and cupcakes.

The church already has plans to hold the dinner again next Family Day.
