Words of wisdom

Stratford Gazette

A holiday tradition here in the city, the Rotary Club of Stratford's dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol was held Sunday at St. James' Anglican Church.

The always popular event included passages from Barbara Fulton, Claire Lautier, Alison Wearing, Glen Dias, and Geraint Wyn Davies. There were also performances from the church choir, led by Susan Nagtegaal, and the Bells of St. James by chimers Peter Ryde and Michel Allard.

Proceeds from the reading support the Rotary Respite House and St. James' community food bank.
